Development Control and Major Projects Planner


You probably spend most of your time dealing with planning applications, but you may also get involved with masterplanning, policy work, enforcement and appeals.

We suggest that the main design skills that you would find useful are:
  • assessing schemes
  • negotiating the design elements of schemes
  • using planning policy
  • presenting your arguments, write good reports and draft design based conditions, reasons for refusal and appeal evidence
