This is one of our regular Planning Network Meetings, looking at an overview of appeals since the introduction of NPPF. Although the ink may still be wet on the legislation, key decisions that have been made through the appeal process will set the direction of future local decision making. Focusing on appeal decisions in the morning, we will look at how London’s Design Review Panels are working and their benefits through the planning process.
How do you know if commitments and proposals made through the planning process, whether at planning determination stage or later during resolution of conditions, will genuinely manifest as good design and good quality?
