This detailed briefing and interactive workshop session will consider the latest London policy on sustainable housing. The purpose of the workshop is to provide participants with a better understanding of the policy expectations and what this means in practice in terms of the design of new housing across London.
Attendees will be introduced to the London Plan requirements, the Code for Sustainable Homes, retrofitting and how best we can deliver sustainable development. Case studies will be used to help explain design solutions and the challenges to delivering more sustainable housing, combined with discussion on the best ways to apply and ensure good practice
